Happy 236 Birthday, America! To help me celebrate, the schools choir learned The Star Spangled Banner and sang it today at the morning assembly while we raised the American flag along with the Namibian flag. What a nice, small way to celebrate the 4th of July here in the African bush. Happy Independence Day everyone!

Hello There. Whether you meant to get here or not you have somehow managed to find my blog. This isn’t any old blog, you know. This is my attempt to document my time spent serving with the Peace Corps as an education volunteer in Namibia. There will be good stories, photos, and perhaps a short movie or two.
